We offer various clinics, demonstrations, and presentations throughout our region, across the U.S., and abroad, upon request.

HorseTenders LLC is accepting private appointments for ground training and basic horsemanship training using our HorseTenders mustangs. This is a fantastic way for families, individuals, or groups to be introduced to horses, understand the basic concepts behind owning horses, or to increase their knowledge of the horse with “hands on” sessions. The appointments are 2 hours and each participant will be able to work one on one with a mustang and a trainer. We also gladly work with clients that bring their horses to our training facility in Greenfield, NH. Clinics are fully customizable to best help both horse and owner. Ground Work Mustang Style

Understanding the basic premise of why groundwork is a must do for your horse and the first place you should start. The horses trust you more sincerely when treated with dignity and understanding.

May bring your own horses or Mustangs provided for each participant.

Round Pen for Communication

All participants will have their own round pen for the day and have the opportunity to work with multiple mustangs. This is a skill that can make or break your ability to truly communicate with your horse. Learn from a master horse communicator.

Starting a Mustang Under Saddle

Combining all that you have learned from the previous clinics, now you are ready for the big step. There is a thoughtful heartfelt process to starting horses under saddle. Now that they understand what you are asking, and you have learned to listen to them, they willingly trust you to do the next step.

Finishing your Horse in the Saddle

Now it’s time to learning to work with your individual non-punitive riding aids by developing softness and confidence under saddle for both horse and owner.

Trail Confidence Training

Making the magic happen on the trail! Developing confidence with trail situations and obstacles such as water crossings, bridge crossings, road safety, changing pace while riding, group riding, and trailering, to name a few.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot in a clinic.

HORSETENDERS Round Pen Clinic

Round Pen Clinic with Power Point presentation by Kris Kokal on Saturday March 17 from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. Fees are $150 per person using Foundations Mustangs, $200 to bring your own horse. Limited to 5 Participants, Lunch and snacks included.

HORSETENDERS Ground Clinic

Ground Clinic with Power Point presentation by Kris Kokal on Saturday April 7 from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. Fees are $100 per person using Foundations Mustangs, $150 to bring your own horse. Limited to 5 Participants, Lunch and included.

HORSETENDERS Horsemanship Camp

5 day Horsemanship Camps with Kris Kokal – Camp onsite at no additional cost for you and your horse! Two meals a day included! Come with your horse and design your own experience! Learn basic to advanced skills! Limited to 5 campers and horses. No horse, no problem. HT horse’s available to enjoy.
