What started out as a foster home has turned into a love affair! Carol Poole, a successful champion of mustangs abandoned at auctions and bound for slaughter, has taken Eli into her home and the two have become kindred spirits! When mustangs are all alone and without hope, Carol is their voice. She does this all on the internet and sometimes has to use her own limited funds to bail them out, get them health care and find them a safe place to heal. She is enjoying treating this once abandoned and frightened burro left at a slaughter auction like a king. Eli, you are so fortunate!”
